An aircraft was grounded due to an aircraft engine failure risking major operational disruption and financial loss.
We arranged for the shipment to be moved by direct aircraft charter, the engine was in transit within 6 hours of the initial request, and arrived at STN airport where we arrange for a low loader trailer to collect and deliver airside to the aircraft side ready for installation to the B787-900 at LHR.
The part was delivered within 18 hours, returning the aircraft to revenue service the same day with zero disruption to the airline's onward schedule.
A new-build cruise ship was preparing for its maiden voyage when it emerged that critical medical equipment was still needed for the onboard medical team — with only a 3-day window before departure.
