What information do you require to get a quote?

What are the advantages of using sea freight vs air freight?
Sea freight is cost effective, it is a lot less expensive than air freight and you can send bigger volumes by Full Container Load (FCL) by paying approximately 80% less than air freight.
It also has less impact on the environment, as it has a lower carbon footprint.
What is the difference between FCL & LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) refers to either a 20ft or 40ft container filled with cargo, this is a dedicated container utilized by one shipper.
LCL (Less than Container Load) refers to shipments that do not fill one FCL container. In this case, several shippers can load their cargo into a single container.
LCL is an excellent solution for shippers who do not have enough cargo to fill one FCL, as you are only paying for the space that you utilize in the container.
What are detention and demurrage charges?
Detention charges are levied by the shipping line to the importer when the importer takes a full container for unpacking and fails to return the empty container to the concerned empty depot before the permitted free days expire.
Demurrage charges are levied by the shipping line to the importer when the importer fails to take delivery of an FCL and move it from the port premises for unpacking within the stipulated free days.

We have a specialist division that handles vehicles, where you can deliver to our receiving centre’s around the UK, for loading and securing into the container. We will ensure photos are taken for each vehicle upon loading and arrival at destination, including all customs formalities too.
